“Stuart bought his Ducati 900 Replica number 146 in October 2011. It was a one owner bike since supplied by Hexagon of Highgate in January 1980. Sadly the original owner dropped the bike on diesel in the first six months of ownership and so she wears the 3 gallon steel tank as replaced as oppose to the 900ss and fiberglass cover. Whilst originally a light restoration was intended, as Stuart got closer into the project it was clear a full restoration was called for and so that’s what he set about to complete. Now 300 miles into running in and with the proper screen now made and yet to be fitted (not in pictures) thanks to the guys at Skidmarx. First time out on Wednesday 19th June to the Bucks Shiny Bike Night Competition the bike won “Best in Show” but it has been lovingly restored and refurbished to be ridden and Stuart has it entered for the Closed Roads Parade at the Isle of Man Manx Grand Prix in August”
