If you're looking for an MHR900 for your collection it really won't ever get any better than this, the machine's from the second batch of 1980 so not officially one of the first 200 that came with a certificate. However this machine was bought new from Mike Hailwoods shop Hailwood and Gould and when the purchaser bought it he asked if he could have it with a certificate, they had a blank which was then filled out with the bikes frame and engine number and signed by Mike himself.
It's covered just 8,000Kms from new which is backed up with some MOT history. The general condition is excellent for an un restored machine, and the only items i can find on it that are non original are the plug caps and fuel taps which are later replacement items, it even has it's original granturismo fuel pipe which we've not seen for 30 years! it has been re painted at some time in its life and there is some micro blistering and stress cracking in the fibreglass.
A truly cherished machine it's had over £2000 worth of recent Brancato engineering service work.
It not only comes with its unique certificate but its still got with it the original hand book + MHR supplement, tool roll and Hailwood and Gould number plate, various receipts and old tax discs. A once in a lifetime chance.
